Our engineers install and commission the system on site, and stay through biological start-up, the weeks when a new RAS is most likely to lose fish. Then we support the farm remotely.
Tanks, loop, oxygen and controls installed to the layout.

Before we arrive
What the site must have ready.
Most installation delays come from the site, not the equipment. We send this list with the drawings.

Biological start-up
Why we stay through start-up.
New biofilter media has no bacteria. Stocking too early causes ammonia and nitrite spikes. One filter maker reports that in warm freshwater nitrifying bacteria take up to 30 days to establish, with 2–3 weeks more common, and that saltwater systems may need 60–90 days (). Our engineers stay until the biofilter keeps up with the fish load.Aquaculture Systems Technologies
