Installation & commissioning

We stay until the biofilter works.

Our engineers install and commission the system on site, and stay through biological start-up, the weeks when a new RAS is most likely to lose fish. Then we support the farm remotely.

On site

Four stages on your site.

01

1

Instalasi

Tanks, loop, oxygen and controls installed to the layout.

02

2

Komisi

Each unit run and checked with water in the system.

03

3

Biological start-up

The biofilter matures before full stocking.

04

4

Hand-over

Your team trained on daily operation and maintenance.

Before we arrive

What the site must have ready.

Most installation delays come from the site, not the equipment. We send this list with the drawings.

Item
Ready means

Building and floor

Built to the agreed layout and levels; slab cured

Daya

Connected to the agreed supply and voltage; generator on site if planned

Air

Make-up water connected; quality checked

Local crew and lifting

Labour and lifting equipment as agreed in the contract

Peralatan

Delivered, unpacked and checked against the packing list

Test kit

Controls and alarms

Every alarm triggered and received

Biological start-up

Why we stay through start-up.

New biofilter media has no bacteria. Stocking too early causes ammonia and nitrite spikes. One filter maker reports that in warm freshwater nitrifying bacteria take up to 30 days to establish, with 2–3 weeks more common, and that saltwater systems may need 60–90 days (). Our engineers stay until the biofilter keeps up with the fish load.Aquaculture Systems Technologies

FAQ

Installation questions.

Yes. We have commissioned systems in Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia and Japan as well as China.

It depends on temperature, salinity and method. Weeks in warm freshwater; longer in cold or saltwater. We plan it into the schedule.

Not fully. Stock in steps while ammonia and nitrite stay low. Our engineers set the steps with you.

Yes. Training on daily operation and maintenance is part of hand-over.

It is agreed per project in the contract.

Next step

Send your site. We plan install and start-up.

Send species, target output and site size. A first layout comes back in 3 days, free.
